Caravelle By Bulova {43A152}
{NECTR Timepiece Review 004}
Bulova, a New York Watch Company (‘to NYCTR or not to NYCTR? That is our question…’), founded by Joseph Bulova in 1875, is probably one of the most prominent modern-day watchmakers. They are also the current post’s manufacturers of interest
Caravelle by Bulova, originally released in 1962, made an interesting comeback in 2013-2014 under the ‘Caravelle New York label.’ Primarily intended to reach an everyday consumer, with the concept focus being ‘affordability meets high fashion.’ As well as ‘niche-ing’ their way into our hearts, the Caravelle production offers a range of variations across its designs.

Our latest timepiece entry is on the 43a152 model (Blue dial, black leather strap). An inner quartz movement watch, with a chic outer look. Rather slim thing, but the black leather strap is extremely adjustable, making it wearable right out of the FedEx box.

Opinion
The Caravelle 43a152 model is perfect for everyday wear. We give it a 4 out of 5 for modesty’s sake. Whether formal or casual, it holds its own with no extra bells or whistles. As simple as it is, it still manages to pique my tastes some days over other timepieces! I mainly use it for workdays or while leisurely reading or writing, when there is no need for ‘apertures or LED lighting’ moments. Especially when it matches our attire for the Count. or ‘Fairytale.’ moments. (the Music Album. Soon. 2026 AD.) Unfortunately, this specific model is out of stock on Bulova’s main site and Walmart, but there’s some on eBay or private collectors’ sites. Be sure to check your local jewelry shops, as they might carry a few too.
Sincerely,
Castle.
