Introduction

Autem Today’s® official 3rd quarter has been one of solemn thinking and rearrangement of digital content already on the internet. Also, contemplations of how to progress with our future programmings, in general, and ‘what’ will we be ‘doing’ as a company. The last publication of Catalog 002: Folktale, Akeldama. A Field of Blood! Or… the Crucifixion of Judas Christ.) Re-introduces ‘Fake Face & Mr. Sunday’s Noon” and the realm of ‘Fairyland.’ a parallel universe, mirroring a Crucified Judas, and Jesus the Exile, or ‘The Beast From Out the Wilderness.’ Publication 009; ‘Akeldama.’ is our first attempt at multi-layering the set(s.) of scifi/theological horror short stories, weaving and scaling them into a grander set of themed stories for Catalog 003 and beyond; (Publication 010: Paradise., ex.)

Why?

This is our job now. Creating genuine, phenomenal, original digital content. Whether enjoyed as a download or a streamable piece, Autem Today® LLC is now a digital entertainment company, created and owned by Bennie Castle, celebrating its 1st official year in business. Sooner rather than later, we’re launching our next campaign, excited for what yet remains from both current and prior stalled programs.

Delusion.

‘I can get “everything” done, especially alone, or I can do ‘everything’ syndrome.

I admit I have my pitfalls, like anyone else, but hopefully they bring realizations about learning curves and how to overcome them. (HINT: Look around the problem, determine where and what would alleviate it. Tackle them in ‘chunks’ if you got to.)

It took me years to ‘comprehend’ decent audio engineering, maybe a decade now. And much longer to grasp the guitar and songwriting. Basically half my life. So,

What do I mean by ‘everything?’

As in, e.g., pilot a plane and fix myself a nice sweet cup of tea flying out of it without a parachute

That’s hard. Obviously I couldn’t do that. And quite obviously millions, definitely billions, couldn’t.

Now go try ( p.s. Just kidding. – {warning; don’t try this at home, kids.})

I can’t get ‘anything’ done. Well, sure you can. The ability to do something must match the problem, though, and with application of knowledge and experience, anything can get done (in the realistic sense) if you just ‘apply’ yourself. If there is ‘something’ specific, especially because of one’s inability or lack of awareness, then that’s a different predicament. There’s no fault in that. ‘To cross one bridge may lie many tunnels.’

If this hasn’t been quoted by anybody, “anywhere’s”, the saying is credited to Bennie Castle. era 2026 © )– Meaning: to get to one place or rather position in life, be it successful, rich, or just working for yourself, there are plentiful ways to get there. The ‘treasures’ are determined by you and you only. Is it the experience you’ve accrued and the mastery of skills/trades/talents, or simply financial gems? These are extremely personal opinions and we hold no grudge about it.

Resolution

When we first began in 2016, the objective was to scale an audio music shop, both upon instrumentals and audio recordings. Also, a graphic design division, featuring distinctive pieces by Bennie Castle. Our delusion was the belief that audio engineering was ‘easy’ or non-essential. (Our resolution was practicing for 8 years, give or take.) In ten years’ time, and more than that since then, we’ve learned that audio engineering is indefinitely just as important as ‘who’ your manager and record label are. Let alone your producer or featured artist, but without even a decent audio engineer there is no audio recording, at least not a ‘comfortable’ one; hence, no single or album. Performing artists can move between both realms of the art, but even they need an audio engineer for recordings.

As both trades become better established, synchronized, and in use daily, we get to learn a variety of other things along the way, too. For example, how to create multi-faceted works like ‘Count.’ or the correlation between creating original graphic design wallpaper sets with multiple tiers, for the sake of our fanship and creativity. Our current resolution becomes something else. Somewhere between gritty and pretty skylines. A decorated sense of Independent Programming and major production capabilities, due solely to applied talents and visionary patterns. Therefore, the resolution becomes to deliver in such matter.
