{NECTR Timepiece Review 002}

DIESEL Company, an Italian Luxury brand founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso, renowned primarily for its denim and chic clothing, released an underlooked line of watches in early October 2023, the Vert Collection. In partnership with Fossil Company, the Timepiece Collection utilized VR technology, [virtual reality], giving each of their model a pronounced ‘organic’ look.

We purchased not one, but two versions of the Vert watches and present our verdict on NECTR BLOG’s 2nd timepiece review.

[DZ 2193] Black Leather Model

If you were to ask how we feel about this watch, our reply would be ‘flawless’. Not only was it beautified as an exemplary manufactured work, crafted with the aid of modern-age tech, but its efficiency is impeccable.

The DZ 2193 is a quartz movement watch with a date aperture, meaning you won’t have to wind this bad boy up.

This timepiece will keep precise time to a tee, trust. So, again, not only is it designed with fashionable foresight, it’s designed to WORK just as good as it looks! Personally, this watch has become a casual go-to, something to wear on the wrist on Tuesday or Wednesday, and it will ALWAYS remind you whether it’s Tuesday or Wednesday.

The feel of the watch is great too!

(One thing we advise, though, is to NOT take showers with it on, as the smell of leather might linger.)

 

[DZ 2183]

This edition of the Vert Collection is slowly becoming a personal favorite! For the most part, it’s made of stainless steel, with black leather stitched along the straps. It’s not only a gorgeous timepiece but also unique, in the sense that only 700 of these are made…

This is a watch that is decent for most occasions; weddings, baby showers, doctor appointments, grocery shopping, WHATEVER the reason. Ultimately, the DZ283 is a perfect mix and max of a watch!

Conclusion and Ratings

Both watches, in all honesty, deserve a 5 out of 5 from us. It’s been worn long enough to gauge, and the gauge says, ‘perfect!’ From a consumer standpoint, the price is about right too.. (although, as we mentioned before, some versions of the VERT collection might be completely sold out.) The Vert is perfect for most occasions. They’re also easy to maintain, since you won’t have to wind them.
